Nestled into a hillside in Ashford, Footprints Cafe Bistro is located within the Singleton Environment Centre which is now home for the Kent BTCV. Footprints Cafe Bistro follows the theme of conservation and environmental awareness, by serving local and seasonal produce with ethically farmed meats and fish set in an unpretentious, elegant and relaxing location.

THE FOOD

We believe that in order for food to taste it's best, it must be freshly prepared with the finest ingredients.  Animals must be happy animals, fruit and vegetables must be picked when in season and ripe. It should also travel as little distance as possible. To achieve this our menu will change frequently, with as much locally grown produce as possible. Whether you like a spicy curry or a simple crunchy salad, prefer meat or just vegetables, our menu has a collection of dishes to suit every palate.

THE DRINK

The perfect coffee or a delicious glass of chilled wine, we've got something special and interesting for you to enjoy. We have selected some of the best award winning local wines and beers as well as locally pressed juices. Whether you want to relax with an espresso, sip wine with a meal or simply bask in the sunshine with a chilled home made lemonade, you just won't want to leave.  

THE PEOPLE

Gary and Candy offer between them, almost 50 years of catering experience along with a warm, friendly family atmosphere, with their meticulous attention to detail and their ongoing quest for perfection. The rest of the Footprints team are selected on the strengths of their personality and affinity with people as well as a positive attitude and desire to give plain good service.

THE MUSIC

We believe music is food for the soul. We have carefully selected a diverse range of Jazz, Blues, Soul and World music for you to listen to, whilst enjoying your meal. We also host regular live music nights, where you will be able to sample one of our 3 course meals, whilst listening to talented local musicians and bands.

EVENTS
